Just Beginning

[Verse] When I was a kid I was already free I was just beginning my life She was a butterfly I was a flea The Earth was just beginning its ride When I was a kid I was already king I was just beginning to reign She was the winter and I was the spring I was just beginning my reign Now I'm grown and the lights are out But it's bright as the night begins I can see that she wants to shout Because the night is just beginning [Prechorus] Just beginning Just beginning Just beginning Just beginning [Chorus] Here I am So nice to meet you My name is freedom My name is freedom I'm free [Verse 2] In the dark I saw her standing there She was just beginning to dance All the birds and the beasts were there The song was just beginning to chant I can see that she's got that glow She was just beginning to shine We were lost But she made it known She was just beginning to find Now we're grown and the lights are out But it's bright as the night begins I can see that she wants to shout Because the night is just beginning [Prechorus] Just beginning Just beginning Just beginning Just beginning [Chorus] Here I am So nice to meet you My name is freedom My name is freedom I'm free Here I am So nice to meet you My name is freedom My name is freedom I'm free
