[Original Lyrics by URAICC, Reworked by Orphidros] Anubis The God Once ruled over death Lord of the Necropolis Lord of the Sacred Land His mother was Nephthys And his father... Osiris Through her playful deceits Anubis came... Anubis The God no longer exists But Anubis The Dog is now in our midst His power exceeded most gods in the land Only Ra, god of life was considered more grand When Set killed his brother, Osiris, Anubis restored his body, his life by Isis Anubis.. Lord Protector of the Dead Right Hand to the Lord of the Afterlife Conductor of souls... Remember the good we've done on Earth Gods get their power From faithful believers But human subjects Are fickle deceivers Anubis The God no longer exists But Anubis The Dog is now in our midst
