I have always admired Aki-chan’s shamisen tracks, but what impressed me the most was how quickly her songs kept improving. It has been wonderful to watch her grow as an artist. Aki-chan has kindly supported my songs for such a long time. But I think she truly broke through the walls around my heart when I realized how deeply she had taken a little “promise” we made to heart. In one of my songs, Aki-chan commented that she was thinking about trying to make a song with cello. I replied that if she created a song with cello, then I would create one with shamisen too. But, to be honest, I never really thought that Aki-chan would actually try it. Time passed, and Aki-chan really did make a song with cello. I commented there that, since she had created a song with cello, it was now my turn to make one with shamisen. Then she replied, “You remembered our promise!” The way she said it completely melted my heart. I wasn't expecting such a heartfelt reply, and in that moment I realized just how important that little promise had been to her... and how important it had become to me too. That was the moment I knew I wanted to keep Aki-chan close to my heart, always. So even though lately I haven't been able to properly check on and comment on Aki-chan's songs as much as I would like, I still often wonder how she is doing and hope that she is having lots of joy and fun on her journey. She is, and always will be, the best shamirock artist here on Suno, and my dear and precious friend. Thank you so much, Aki-chan! Your words and your songs have given me so much warmth and strength.
