RESURRECTION MORNING

The sun came up on Sunday morning Breaking through the darkest night The women running to the garden Found the stone rolled out of sight Angels sitting where He laid Shining brighter than the day Said "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He's not here—He ROSE just like He said!" PRE-CHORUS: Mary's weeping turned to wonder Peter's running to believe What was buried rose in power Death just lost its victory! CHORUS: RESURRECTION MORNING! Death could not hold Him down! RESURRECTION MORNING! The King reclaimed His crown! Hell is shaking, chains are breaking Every tomb is coming open wide! RESURRECTION MORNING! JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE! HE'S ALIVE! HE'S ALIVE! RESURRECTION MORNING! VERSE 2: Thomas said "I won't believe it Till I see the wounds He bore" Then Jesus walked right through the walls and Said "Put your finger in these scars" Thomas fell down to his knees "My Lord, my God" is all he sees Every doubt just disappeared in resurrection light The grave is empty—JESUS LIVES tonight! BRIDGE (Building to explosive peak): DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING? (He's alive! He's alive!) GRAVE, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? (He arose! He arose!) THE STONE IS ROLLED AWAY! (He's alive! He's alive!)
