[INTRO — POWERFUL TRUMPETS] Ba-da-da-BAM! Ba-da-da-BOW! Come on, baby, take my hand, Leave that negativity where it stands! [VERSE 1] We’ve had our moments, we’ve had our days, But tonight, baby, let’s change our ways. Forget the drama, forget who’s wrong, Remember the love that kept us strong. Think of the laughter, remember the nights, Dancing together underneath those lights. Take my hand, baby, come on around, Let’s bring that old-school love back around! [PRE-CHORUS] Don’t rush, baby, take your time, Let your heart move with mine. When the world gets crazy and the noise gets loud, Turn up our love and lose it in the crowd! [CHORUS — MOTOWN HOOK] LET IT PLAY LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! Turn that good love up, TURN IT UP! Shake that bad vibe off, SHAKE IT OFF! Two-step left, two-step right, Come on, baby, burn it up tonight! LET IT PLAY LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! Take me back to the good old days, Where we laughed, loved, danced and played! [VERSE 2] Leave the old arguments somewhere back in the past, Tonight we’re making memories we hope forever last. Put your worries on the floor, let your body catch the sound, When that Motown rhythm hits, we’ll turn this love around. Look into my eyes, baby, tell me what you see, The same old spark and chemistry that brought you back to me. So pull me a little closer, let the good vibes come around, Two-step into my arms while we LET IT PLAY LOUD! [SCAT / DANCE BREAK] Shoo-bop, shoo-bop! HEY! Ba-da-ba-da-BOW! HEY! Two-step… two-step… Don’t stop now! [BRIDGE — MELODY CHANGE] Put your arms around me, let the music heal, Forget about the trouble, just remember how we feel. Tonight it’s you and me, no matter what comes down, We’re gonna love, we’re gonna dance, we’re gonna turn it loud! [FINAL HOOK — BIG MOTOWN FINISH] LET IT PLAY LOUD! LOUD! LOUD! LOUD!
