[Verse] Once upon a time, in a meadow so green A donkey named Danny, quite the curious fiend (hee-haw!) He stumbled upon a clover, four leaves of pure gold Without a second thought, into his mouth it was sho-o-o-o-o-oved [Verse 2] The journey began, as the clover went downtown Through the twists and turns, in the donkey's belly round Filled with luck and charm, it passed through with grace Until it finally emerged, in a most peculiar place (ew!) [Chorus] Oh, lucky donkey, you're the one we adore Turning clovers to gold, like a magician for sure In your donkey dung, a treasure trove we have found Happy St. Patrick's Day, let the luck spin around
