I long for you, as the fallen whisper in my ear Sál mín þráir, að sjá andlit þeirra á ný! My soul yearns, to see their faces again Þessi staður hefir gleymt mér! This place has forgotten me Ég mun hvíla, er Valkyrjur taka mig! I will rest, when the Valkyries take me Ég dreymi, um víðáttumiklar akra! I dream, of the vast open fields Ég dreymi, um þá ást, er ég missti! I dream, of the love I lost Ég dreymi, um endalausa bardaga! I dream, of the never-ending battle! Fœrðu mig til himins! Take me to heaven! Fœrðu mig til himins! Take me to heaven! Valhöll kallar nafnið mitt! Valhalla calls my name! Valhöll er þar sem ég mun vera! Valhalla is where I will remain! Fœrðu mig til himins! Take me to heaven! Fœrðu mig til himins! Take me to heaven! Valhöll kallar nafnið mitt! Valhalla calls my name! Valhöll er þar sem ég mun vera! Valhalla is where I will remain!
