Chapter 2 - The City of Mirrors
Full Narration Below : [Introduction : "The Hall of Whispers] "The city doesn’t show you your face. It shows you what you hide." Primandort steps into the City of Mirrors, a place where every reflection reveals an inner truth. The inhabitants wear transparent masks, etched with shifting symbols that change with their emotions. The streets are lined with mirrors that whisper secrets, and the air hums with magical energy, as if the city itself is holding its breath. [Verse 1 :"Eloise’s Revelation"] "You wore the sky like a second skin, Told me to look but not to see within. A child’s laugh, a man’s despair— Which one’s mine? Which one’s yours to bear?" Meeting Eloise In the Hall of Echoes, Primandort meets Eloise, a guardian with starry eyes. She tells him: [Éloïse] "Tu cherches un remède, guérisseur. Mais as-tu déjà regardé tes propres cicatrices ?" The mirrors around them show fragments of his past: his carefree childhood, his failures as a healer, his mother’s smiling face, and his son reaching out for his hand. [Pre-Chorus: "The Shattering"] "Look at yourself until you recognize The stranger in the glass, the truth in disguise." The stranger in the glass, the truth in disguise." The Revelation Eloise leads Primandort to a central mirror. As he touches it, the fragments reassemble, revealing a golden light—the "remedy" he sought: to see himself whole, with his strengths and weaknesses. [Éloïse]"Le secret n’était pas dans les reflets, mais dans ce que tu osais y voir." The mirror shatters and reforms, showing his complete emblem, a symbol of his fulfilled quest. [Instrumental] [Chorus : "Mirror’s Secret"] "I am the stranger, I am the son, The healer, the wound, the setting sun. Now I see the light that I denied— The mirror’s truth, the peace inside." [Bridge: The Broken Door"] "J’ai vu le ciel dans tes yeux, Un rire d’enfant, un cri dans les cieux… Dis-moi, miroir, dis-moi vrai— Suis-je le guérisseur, ou la plaie ?" Primandort understands: to heal others, he first had to accept his own story. Eloise gives him a shard of the mirror. [Éloïse] "Garde-le. Parfois... il faut se briser pour se voir entier. " [Outro "Echoes of the City"] "The city had given me what I sought: Not a cure, but the courage to see As he leaves the hall, he glimpses a dock in the distance, where a ship awaits "Some say the ocean erases everything. Others, that it only keeps things in memory until you’re ready to listen. I tasted salt on my lips. Tomorrow, I would sail. Tomorrow, I would hear the waves"
