[Verse] Little Fido yawns he's so very sleepy Blinking his eyes but he's still so needy Poking my leg with his tiny wet nose It's bedtime for him that's how it goes [Verse 2] He tugs at my pants and he whines at the door Begging me softly just like before I've got work to do but he doesn't care He's pulling me close with his cuddle stare [Chorus] Laila tov laila tov my little friend To the bedroom we go till the day's end We'll snuggle and dream of treats and a bone Laila tov laila tov we're not alone [Verse 3] His tail wags fast and his eyes start to droop Falling asleep he needs our warm group His little paws are patting the bed Nudging my side laying down his head [Bridge] In the night when the stars shine above All he wants is our cuddling love Together we'll drift in sweet harmony Nighttime is calling for you and me [Chorus] Laila tov laila tov my little friend To the bedroom we go till the day's end We'll snuggle and dream of treats and a bone Laila tov laila tov we're not alone
