"Now I understand....." 
I`m being somewhat dramatic, of course, but I have completed my music theory phase.
I`ve read 3 books, numerous websites, watched every video on youtube by Rick Beato.
I can read music (slowly), I understand intervals, chords, keys/modes, chord progressions, arpeggios, modulation, compositional structure.

I still have a long way to go.
I`m starting a online course (28/05/2026)
I need to learn how to use Renoise (DAW I will be using)
I need to learn mixing/plugins/vst synths

I will be starting with a hybrid approach.
Develop ideas in the DAW. 
Transfer isolated instrument tracks to suno studio.
Use suno to develop musical ideas and improve instrumentation add layers etc.
Depending on how successful this approach is I may also use my "hacky" approach of mashing up tracks, editing the results and mashing up those until I get something I like.
