No matter how the world grew loud, My heart remained so still inside. For your gentle smile you gave to me Lit up my soul with golden love. One morning came a sudden knock, A friend stood crying at my door. Without a word they held me tight— Your tragic news cut through my heart. We shared our pain and walked as one, Saw every sunrise side by side. But now tomorrow disappears, Only a wound too deep remains. Even the meaning of my birth Was slipping from my trembling hands. Closing the door to all my days ahead, I cried and cried I wept for hours It felt like life had left my grasp, But at the end of that long, endless night What finally came into my sight Were all those golden days with you. Then on a night when I broke down, Your tender phantom reached for me. With that same golden smile of yours, You whispered, “Live”—and pushed me on. Even if the world roars once again, My heart will never shake or fall. The light you left behind for me Will guide my steps toward tomorrow. Your smile that wrapped me in its glow— Your golden love remains in me, And I will live on for you. Your smile that wrapped me in its glow— Your golden love remains in me, And I will live on for you.
