[Verse] Angels sang on a starlit night A humble birth in a lowly plight Manger scene bathed in sacred light Heaven's gift a silent sight [Verse 2] Shepherds watched their flocks by dark Hearts awakened by a angelic spark Bethlehem held a divine mark A king was born without remark [Chorus] Glorious return with trumpets loud Heavenly hosts sing long and proud Every knee shall humbly bow As He descends from heaven’s cloud [Verse 3] Wise men brought their gifts of gold Ancient prophecies they retold Frankincense and myrrh unfold In His grace our hearts consoled [Verse 4] He walked the earth with love untold Miracles His hands would hold For our sins His blood was sold In His name we are made bold [Chorus] Glorious return with trumpets loud Heavenly hosts sing long and proud Every knee shall humbly bow As He descends from heaven’s cloud
