# STEP INTO THE FIRE ### The Faithful Ones [INTRO – DARK BARITONE GUITAR / DISTANT ELECTRIC FIDDLE] [MALE – SPOKEN, QUIET] Isaiah chapter forty three, verse Two. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” [LOW DRUM BEGINS] [FEMALE – SOFT] So if you're standing in the fire... Don't run. [BARITONE GUITAR SLAMS IN] [VERSE 1 – MALE] Maybe you're standing in the middle of pain, Wondering if you'll see the sunshine again. You've prayed through the night, but the answer feels far, Crying out, “Lord, where are You in the dark?” Maybe you're broken, maybe afraid, Carrying wounds that you bury away. You've tried to be strong, but you're tired inside, Wondering how much longer you can fight. [PRE-CHORUS – FEMALE] But God sees every tear you cry, He knows every battle fought inside. And what you thought would break you through, May be what He's using to make you new. [BUILD – BOTH] So don't run now... Don't turn away... [CHORUS – BOTH / HUGE] STEP INTO THE FIRE, AND THE ANOINTING WILL COME! Step into the fire, Let His Spirit make you strong! Don't run from the burning, Don't turn and walk away. He's refining you for purpose, He's preparing you today. STEP INTO THE FIRE, AND THE ANOINTING WILL COME! What He started in your life Will not be left undone! Though the flames may feel like more Than you think you can endure, Step into the fire, He is making you strong and pure! [ELECTRIC FIDDLE TURNAROUND] [VERSE 2 – FEMALE] Maybe you've lost someone you loved, Maybe you fell and can't get back up. Maybe addiction took somebody away, Maybe you're fighting just to make it through the day. Maybe they left when you needed them most, Maybe the deepest wounds came from those you held close. But God hasn't left you, He's still by your side, Even through the valley, He walks through the fire. [PRE-CHORUS – MALE] He sees the wounds you never show, He knows the things nobody knows. And every tear you've ever cried Has never once escaped His eyes. [PRE-CHORUS LIFT – BOTH] What feels like ashes... Isn't the end. God can breathe life Into them again! [CHORUS – BOTH] STEP INTO THE FIRE, AND THE ANOINTING WILL COME! [INSTRUMENTAL BREAK – BARITONE GUITAR / BANJO / ELECTRIC FIDDLE] [BRIDGE – FEMALE, SUNG / BUILDING] You thought the fire would destroy you, But God was teaching you to stand.
