Verse 1 At first it’s quiet when I close the door Shoes in a pile on the bedroom floor Light from the window, dust in the air A thousand ideas just waiting there Papers, posters, half-made plans Broken pencils in my hands Everybody thinks it’s just a mess But I know there’s magic in the rest Pre-Chorus Then the walls start humming low And the little things begin to glow Chorus Welcome to my crazy room Where the quiet turns into BOOM! Where the ceiling spins, and the colors bloom Nothing normal makes it through Welcome to my crazy room Where the weird ideas all come true If you see what I see too You’ll never call it just my room Verse 2 There’s a rocket drawn beside my bed A monster hiding in a song I said A keyboard castle, guitar moon Drumsticks flying like a cartoon My socks are mountains, my chair’s a throne I’m never really here alone The floor is lava, the lamp’s a star My little world goes way too far Pre-Chorus Then the walls start humming low And the little things begin to glow Chorus Welcome to my crazy room Where the quiet turns into BOOM! Where the ceiling spins, and the colors bloom Nothing normal makes it through Welcome to my crazy room Where the weird ideas all come true If you see what I see too You’ll never call it just my room Bridge Shh… it starts with a whisper One small sound in the dark Then the posters start dancing And the night gets a spark The bed turns into a spaceship The mirror opens wide The closet starts a thunderstorm And I’m laughing inside Final Chorus Welcome to my crazy room Where the quiet turns into BOOM! Where the ceiling spins, and the colors bloom Nothing normal makes it through Welcome to my crazy room Where the weird ideas all come true If you see what I see too You’ll never call it just my room Outro My crazy room My crazy room It starts so quiet Then goes BOOM!
