[Verse] Up on the mountain where light did blaze Face like the sun in a holy haze Voices of prophets loud and clear Standing witness in awe and fear [Verse] Elijah spoke and Moses agreed God’s own promise for all to heed White robes gleamed More pure than snow Transfiguration For faith to show [Chorus] Shining moment Truth revealed Eternal promise Heaven sealed Glory descending Hearts aligned Mystery of love Divine [Verse] Peter here He trembles and cries Build three shelters under the sky Let’s stay here where heaven meets ground In this glory Let our souls be found [Bridge] Clouds enveloped A voice then spoke Beloved Son My final stroke Listen to Him My dear command Hope reborn in this sacred land [Verse] Descending now We hold the tale A Light within that never pales Transfiguration A beacon bright Guiding the faithful through darkest night
