Joe's First Tail Feather

[Verse] Joe the rooster lived so plain In the barn he'd roam One fine day he caught a glance Feathers showed their glow [Verse 2] Feathers shining in the sun Bright and full of cheer Joe looked back and gave a crow Glimpsing them so clear [Chorus] Oh Joe oh Joe First tail feather gonna show Laughing all night long ha ha In the soft moon’s glow [Verse 3] Feathers started spreading wide Like a flag so proud Joe marched 'round the old farmstead Made the chickens wowed [Verse 4] Barnyard friends they danced and sang Chickens joined the fun Joe the rooster led the troupe From the night ‘til sun [Chorus] Oh Joe oh Joe First tail feather gonna show Laughing all night long ha ha In the soft moon’s glow
