[Male Vocal]

[Verse 1][Male Vocal]

[Chorus / Drop][Male Vocal]

[Drop]

[Verse 2][Male Vocal]

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3][Male Vocal]

[Guitar Outro]

[End]

-------------------------

The sunset flickered like a blade’s gleam.

[Male Vocal]

[Verse 1][Male Vocal]
The sunset flickered like a blade’s gleam.
Death was counting its prey.
The battle is tomorrow, but for now,
The platoon dug into the clouds,
And moved off through the mountain pass.

[Chorus / Drop][Male Vocal]
Cease the chatter!
Forward and upward, and there…
For these are our mountains –
They will help us!
They will help us!

[Drop]

[Verse 2][Male Vocal]
And before the war, this very slope
A German guy climbed with you,
He fell down, but was saved,
But now, perhaps, he
Is readying his rifle for battle.

[Chorus / Drop][Male Vocal]
Cease the chatter!
Forward and upward, and there…
For these are our mountains –
They will help us!
They will help us!

[Guitar Solo]

[Verse 3][Male Vocal]
You are here again, fully focused,
Waiting for the cherished signal.
And that guy – he’s here too,
Among the “Edelweiss” shooters.
They must be thrown from the pass!

[Chorus / Drop][Male Vocal]
Cease the chatter!
Forward and upward, and there…
For these are our mountains –
They will help us!
They will help us!

[Guitar Outro]
