[Verse 1] I hear a voice from heaven crying out, "Babylon has fallen, lost without a doubt! Her pride and glory, her silver and gold, Now lie in ruin, stories to be told." [Chorus] Fallen, fallen is Babylon, Her kingdom’s lost, her light is gone, Come out, O people, hear the call, From the earth to heaven, it is all in vain. Fallen, fallen, hear the cry, The King of Glory draws nigh! [Verse 2] The merchants mourn, they cannot buy, Her treasures turned to dust and sighs. The kings of earth who lived so high, Now stand in silence, asking why. [Chorus] Fallen, fallen is Babylon, Her kingdom’s lost, her light is gone, Come out, O people, hear the call, From the earth to heaven, it is all in vain. Fallen, fallen, hear the cry, The King of Glory draws nigh! [Bridge] The saints have wept, the prophets cried, Their blood on earth, the heavens wide, The angel’s song will fill the skies, As Babylon’s glory falls and dies. [Chorus] Fallen, fallen is Babylon, Her kingdom’s lost, her light is gone, Come out, O people, hear the call, From the earth to heaven, it is all in vain. Fallen, fallen, hear the cry, The King of Glory draws nigh! [Outro] Fallen, fallen, Babylon no more, The Lamb of God reigns forevermore. Fallen, fallen, her name erased, In the light of God’s eternal grace.
