Verse 1 We saw a light cut through the night, a promise in the sky; the words of prophets stirred our hearts— we rose and traveled by. Not every map can show the road, but faith can mark the way; we crossed our fears and followed Him, the Child of Bethlehem. Pre-Chorus When heaven points, we lift our eyes, and take the step of faith. Chorus We will follow the star to Jesus, kneel and offer our lives today; open our hands like treasured gifts, learn of His love and grace. Warned by His word and Spirit’s voice, we choose a brighter day; having found the Lord of Life, we go another way. Verse 2 A restless king, a watching world— yet peace within the home; a mother holds the Holy One, the promised, Only Son. We bow to Him, the Prince of Peace, the Savior, Christ, our Lord; His light still leads through darkest streets, His name our guiding word. Bridge Gold for the King, our hearts we bring; incense of prayer we raise; myrrh for His cross—He heals our loss; we walk in covenant grace. Final Chorus We will follow the star to Jesus, kneel and offer our lives today; led by His light and Spirit’s voice, we choose a brighter day. Having found the Lord of Life, we walk in faith and stay— He changes hearts that come to Him to go another way.
