This is a Disaster Part 1 (Cover)

The musical theatre track opens with a choir-like chorus, ensemble vocals layered over grand piano and lush orchestral textures, As the section evolves, orchestrations ease back, spotlighting the female mayor’s expressive solo over strings and woodwinds, Abruptly, a commanding baritone (King Glamis) enters, cutting through with bold brass and timpani that close the song with dramatic flair

[ENSEMBLE] From a town so fine Where the lights always shine We'll sing a tune for everyone And show we're truly prime [Verse 1] [ENSEMBLE] In this grand old town where the pride runs deep We'll sing our hearts out and joy will keep From the skyline bright to the streets we roam We're proud of our city, it's where we call home [ENSEMBLE] From a town so fine Where the lights always shine We'll sing a tune for everyone And show we're truly prime [ENSEMBLE - CHOIR] From a town so fine Where the lights always shine We'll sing a tune for everyone And show we're truly prime [ENSEMBLE - CHOIR] In this grand old town where the pride runs deep We'll sing our hearts out, our joy will keep From the skyline bright to the streets we roam We're proud of our city, it's where we call home [MAYOR - MALE VOCALIST] From our town so fine, where the lights always shine, We’ll sing a tune for everyone, we’re feeling so divine! From the streets to the hills, we know this place so well, With pride and joy, we’ll sing our hearts, no storm can break our spell! [KING GLAMIS - MALE VOCALIST] Halt your singing, silence all! This land’s no longer yours to call! Your joy, your pride, will fade away— For King Glamis’s here, and I’m here to stay! [KING GLAMIS - MALE VOCALIST] You thought this town was yours to keep, But under my rule, you’ll bow and weep! Your cheerful tunes, your harmony’s sweet— They mean nothing now, for you’re under my feet! [KING GLAMIS - MALE VOCALIST] No more songs of joy, no more cheerful flair! Bow to me, your ruler now, if you even dare!
