Let the whole earth hear you rejoice! [Verse 1] All people that on earth do dwell, Lift up your voice, the news to tell! Serve the Lord with a joyful heart, Let gladness rise and praise break out! [Verse 2] O Father, fountain of endless love, Your grace flows down from heaven above. You planned redemption before time began, You sent Your Son to rescue man. Through Jesus Christ, we're reconciled, Adopted by the Father, welcomed as children. The blood that cleansed us, the grace that saves, Will hold us fast beyond the grave! [Pre-Chorus] The Father loves! The Son has saved! The Spirit lives Within the brave! [Chorus — Full Band] WORK AND PRAISE! HEARTS UPRAISE! LET THE JOY OF HEAVEN SET YOU ABLAZE! SING IT LOUD! [Verse 3] Don't let your murmuring steal the song, Don't let despair keep you bound too long. Your neighbor's watching how you stand, How you praise God through shifting sand. Let them see a hope that won't depart, A thankful spirit, a burning heart. Your joy may be the light they need To turn to Christ and believe! [Breakdown — Half-Time, Heavy] When the night is long— WORK AND PRAISE! When the road is steep— WORK AND PRAISE! When the tears fall down— WORK AND PRAISE! When the lost need hope— LET YOUR JOY RING OUT! [Bridge — Rising Choir] Praise Him when the sun shines bright! Praise Him through the darkest night! Praise Him when the road is long! Turn your gratitude into a song! Let your thankful words take flight, Like wings of flame into the light! Join the saints who never cease To sing His glory, joy, and peace! [Final Chorus — Maximum Power] WORK AND PRAISE! HEARTS UPRAISE! LET THE JOY OF HEAVEN SET YOU ABLAZE! SING IT LOUD! SHOUT IT STRONG! THE JOY OF THE LORD WILL CARRY YOU ON! WORK AND PRAISE!
