I first encountered Jesus when I was just eleven years old, a moment that forever altered the course of my life. With an open heart, I received Him as my Lord and Friend, embracing Him as my Savior who gently leads me toward the promise of eternity in heaven. However, as the years went by, my faith began to fade. I became a lukewarm Christian, allowing the allure of the broken world around me to seep into my life, effectively placing my faith in the shadows. Despite knowing that Jesus Christ resided within me and filled me with His Holy Spirit to guide my steps, I found myself longing to escape. Curiosity began to bubble within me, prompting a quest to question everything I believed. I explored various beliefs and philosophies, even embarking on journeys into ideas that strayed far from the teachings I once held dear. Yet, God, in His boundless goodness, relentlessly pursued me.......... And I remember Jesus reassured us with these powerful words: "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one can snatch them out of the Father's hand." Much like the Prodigal Son, despite my waywardness, God welcomed me back with open arms into His loving family. (Instrumental 8th-stringed harp) In my solitude, God spoke to my heart. Though I did not hear His voice audibly, His presence filled me with a profound reminder of my identity as His cherished child through Jesus Christ. I realized with a surge of joy that I truly belong to Him. The Scripture echoes, “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons, by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father.” With that realization, I embarked on a journey to renew my relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It became clear that God had never let go of my hand, and the Holy Spirit continues to illuminate my path as I earnestly seek God and His righteousness. Today, I find myself in a continuous process of growth in my faith, diving deeper into the rich tapestry of my Abba Father's love and wisdom through diligent study of His Word. He has bestowed upon me a sacred mission: to advance His Kingdom and enrich the lives of others with the promise of His everlasting grace.
