(chorus) Father please help me make it home, As I sit here and pray, All I want is to make it through another day, Lord Jesus I can't wait to walk with you, Precious Jesus, Please guide me as I sit here and pray, Please don't let me, Go Astray. (verse2) Walk through this life with me, Stand beside me and help me see, Teach me all your ways dear lord, Please keep me safe from harm here on earth, Let me take this Great Bible everywhere I go, So I can help teach people about your word,To help them understand, So they will know, More about this journey, as we are passing through. (chorus) FATHER the storms are so strong, I will always need you to come along, And Father help us find our way Guide me lord Jesus don't let me get lost, I found my way to learn about you, God please have mercy on me as I sit here and pray, Give me knowledge to learn about the Bible everyday, I will do my best to do things right, Just please bring me home into your glorious light.
