[Verse 1] It was a gorgeous fall day, Jaime strollin' through the woods, Picks up an old dark stick, elegant, like it understood. Out by the edge, old man's cryin' on a rock so gray, „Hey, why the tears? Can I help ya out today?“ [Chorus] Help your neighbor, share the load, From a seed, the magic grows. Patience and love, that's the key, At Christmas, the tree shines free! Oh, pure joy for you and me, That fir tree brings the glee! [Verse 2] „Tripped on the path, lost my cane and glasses too, Foot's swollen bad, don't know what to do.“ Jaime: „No worries, lean on me, we'll find 'em on the way,“ Grab the glasses, head home slow, brightenin' up the day. [Chorus] Help your neighbor, share the load, From a seed, the magic grows. Patience and love, that's the key, At Christmas, the tree shines free! Oh, pure joy for you and me, That fir tree brings the glee! [Verse 3] Home in dark soil, pot in a cozy spot, Water weekly, watchin', but nothin' happens, squat. Winter bites, Jaime's sad: „Did I mess it up somehow?“ Spring arrives, tiny sprout, green and growin' now! [Bridge] Years roll by, water, trim, fir strong and tall, Out to the garden, by the roses, standin' proud for all. Christmas comes, balls so bright, tinsel shimmerin' fine, Lights wrapped 'round, neighbors gather, smiles align. [Chorus (bigger)] Help your neighbor, share the load, From a seed, the magic grows. Patience and love, that's the key, At Christmas, the tree shines free! Oh, pure joy for you and me, That fir tree brings the glee! [Verse 4] Christmas Eve, family laughin', Jaime glances out, Shootin' star zooms, lands on top, lights burst about. Sees the old man's face in the glow, happiness so deep, „Every year this joy, light us up, in our sleep.“ [Outro (Chorus varied)] Help your neighbor, share the load... The tree lives on, year after year, Christmas magic, crystal clear!
