[Intro] (Smooth melodic slap bass groove) (Warm Prophet-5 synth pads and DX7 sparkles) (Steady soulful drum beat enters) (Smooth baritone ad-lib: "Yeah... coming to ya, baby... so smooth") [Verse 1] Have you ever been on a bus trip? Where the scenery makes your mind slip? To a scene on a movie screen Where you play the part Of winning your lover's heart? [Pre-Chorus] But before you came, you find my friend You're right back at the start, at the start And the trip that you were on Was just a mirage A mirage! [Chorus] It's just an illusion coming to ya It's just an illusion coming to ya I know, it's just an illusion coming to ya It's just an illusion... [Verse 2] Have you ever been on a big jet plane? In another cloud, then back again? You feel like a bird with wings Flying through the sky And you know that this is high [Pre-Chorus] But before you try to fly the sky Think baby, baby, baby, and you'll know why Your mind travels so rapidly Into a world, a world of fantasy! [Chorus] It's just an illusion coming to ya It's just an illusion coming to ya Sometimes in the back of your mind It's just an illusion coming to ya Just you and me living life at the line It's just an illusion... [Bridge] (Bass and drum breakdown - sophisticated groove) (Velvet baritone monologue) What you feel is not real It's just an illusion... I feel so bad for the things you feel There could never be no you and me You see, girl I have something for me, baby I want to be real with you, baby Even those things that you have on your mind We'll be fine, we'll be fine... [Guitar & Synth Solo] (Elegant and melodic OB-Xa synth solo) [Chorus Outro] It's just an illusion coming to ya (So smooth, coming to ya...) It's just an illusion coming to ya (Don't let it fool your mind) It's just an illusion coming to ya (Coming to ya, coming to ya...) It's just an illusion... [End] (Fade out with warm bass line and silky vocal ad-libs)
