[Verse 1] Well, the kids were upstairs, making a ruckus again, Heard a crash so loud, it could wake the hens. Ran up the stairs, and what did I see? The computer in pieces, where it shouldn't be. [Verse 2] Maw's hands on her hips, fire in her eyes, Paw's face turned red, yelling to the skies. "Who did this now? You better confess!" The kids just stood there, a tangled-up mess. [Chorus] The screen's in the corner, the keyboard's askew, The mouse don't work, and the cords are through. Maw's screaming, Paw's pacing the floor, That computer ain't gonna compute no more. [Verse 3] "Jimmy says it’s Sally, Sally says it’s him, Both pointin' fingers with a guilty grin. But the truth came out, as Paw hollered louder, They’d been fighting over games, it went sour." [Verse 4] "Do you know how much that machine had cost? Now it's shattered to bits, and all of it's lost!" Maw grabbed her broom, chased 'em down the hall, While Paw muttered something 'bout "No tech at all!" [Chorus] The screen's in the corner, the keyboard's askew, The mouse don't work, and the cords are through. Maw's screaming, Paw's pacing the floor, That computer ain't gonna compute no more.
