Yet somehow I can see More of the world than humans do. 朝からスマホを 握りしめながら 顔も合わせずに 「おはよう」と打つ Clutching their phones From morning till night, Typing “Good morning” Without even lifting their eyes. 僕は猫である 人間は忙しい 画面の小さな文字に 一日を追われる I am a cat— Humans are always busy, Chasing tiny glowing letters Across a crowded screen. 僕は猫である 名前はなくても 人間の心のこと 少しは分かるぞ I am a cat— Even without a name, I understand a little Of what lives in human hearts. ニュースを開けば また値上げだそうだ 昨日まで百円が 今日はため息になる They open the news And prices rise again— What cost a hundred yesterday Turns into a sigh today. 働け 働けと 時計が急かして 休めば不安になり 働けば疲れてる Work, work, work— The clock keeps shouting. Resting brings anxiety, Working brings exhaustion. 僕は猫である 人間は欲張りだ 豊かになりたいと言い 時間を売っている I am a cat— Humans are greedy creatures, Saying they want a richer life While selling off their time. 僕は猫である 昼寝をしながら 「幸せとは何だ」と 人間を眺めてる I am a cat, Napping in the sunlight, Watching humans wonder What happiness really means. 地球はひとつなのに 国と国は争い 同じ空の下で 憎しみが増えてゆく One single planet, Yet nations keep fighting— Under the same sky Hatred keeps multiplying. 猫には国境など 必要ないのだが 人間というものは 難しい生き物だ Cats need no borders, But humans draw their lines.
