🕯 The Commissar's Duty 🕯 (interpreted by the Valhallan White Army.)

[Verse I] Across the frozen wastelands wide, Where blizzards rage and heroes fall, The Commissar walks at our side, His voice a shield, his will our wall. No fear may live where he stands tall, No doubt may cloud the soldier's sight, For duty answers duty's call, And guides us through the darkest night. [Refrain (Latin)] "Pro Imperatore! Pro Patria Valhallae! Fides, disciplina, Victoria aeterna!" [Verse II] He bears no crown of gold or fame, No glory sought, no comfort won, He serves the Throne in duty's name, Until his final task is done. His bolt pistol and steadfast gaze Remind us of the oath we swore, To march through fire and frozen haze, And hold the line forevermore. [Refrain (Latin)] "Officium sacrum! Voluntas ferrea! Custodes fidei, Servi Imperii!" [Bridge] Raise the banner, sound the cry, Stand together, never yield! Though a thousand comrades die, Still we hold the Emperor's field! "In nomine Imperatoris! Ad victoriam!" [Verse III] When winter storms consume the sky, And darkness gathers at the gate, The Commissar will not ask why, He marches onward into fate. And if he falls upon the snow, His duty passes to the next, For Valhalla shall always know The faith by which her sons are blessed. [Final Refrain] "Imperator vult! Valhalla surgit! Per glaciem et ignem, Aeternum servimus!" [Final Chorus] The Commissar's duty, sacred and true, To guide the faithful and see us through. For Throne and homeland, we proudly stand, The Emperor's justice in a frozen land! "Pro Imperatore! Pro Valhalla! Ad victoriam!"
