The king rejoices in Your strength, O Lord, How great his joy in Your salvation! You’ve granted him his heart’s desire, Nor withheld his lips’ petition. With blessings rich, You met his plea, A crown of gold upon his brow. He asked for life—You gave him length, Eternal days upon him now. His glory shines through Your renown, Splendor and majesty You pour. Unending honor crowns his head, For grace and favor last forevermore. The king trusts in the Lord Most High, Through steadfast love, he shall not fall. Your hand will find his enemies, Your wrath will sweep away them all. Like flaming fire, You consume All who dare to plot and rise. Their schemes will fail, their plans undone, Your arrows strike their blinded eyes. Be lifted high, O mighty Lord, In power, we will sing Your praise! For strength and victory come from You, Our hearts exalt Your name always.
