City Never Sleeps

Streetlights painting silver on the rain Midnight calling out my name again Every corner's got a heartbeat loud Lost and found inside the crowd Taxi lights and strangers passing by Neon colors burning through the sky Nobody asking me to hide Tonight I'm finally alive Hands up high, we're chasing the glow No destination, just letting go All of the voices that said "don't be you" Fade into nothing when the night breaks through City never sleeps And neither do we Running through the shadows Finally feeling free City never sleeps Under electric skies Every heart that's searching Comes alive tonight Whoa-oh-oh We're alive tonight Whoa-oh-oh Under neon lights City never sleeps... City never sleeps... Rooftop laughter floating through the air Different stories, but we all belong here Every color shining side by side Like stars across the skyline Hands up high, we're chasing the glow No destination, just letting go All of the voices that said "don't be you" Fade into nothing when the night breaks through City never sleeps And neither do we Running through the shadows Finally feeling free City never sleeps Under electric skies Every heart that's searching Comes alive tonight No more hiding No more fear Found my people Found them here When the sunrise paints the avenue I know exactly who I am City never sleeps And neither do we Dancing through the morning Like we're meant to be City never sleeps Under electric skies Every heart that's searching Comes alive tonight City never sleeps... Especially for us... City never sleeps... We're alive tonight... © 2026 Jared Ashworth (Lyrics & Music)
