Bugs Creep Me Out

[// Introduction: This is for real... this is why I spent most of my life indoors and guard my sacred space from bugs. Land/air bugs are really nasty... like anything insect like. And sea creatures are disgusting... because they're big bugs with swimming appendages. And I don't even understand how people eat those things! If you sit and watch the lobsters or crabs move... their bodies are uncanny. They're like giant spiders... but they have these weird ass mouths that make up their "throat" and this is not a lips and tongue kind of situation. It's a whole set of separate tiny appendages... strange ass arms that fold up into themselves, or spread out to grab their food. Weird antennas on them get stroked by their weird mouth arms. And lobster and crayfish have these weird whiskers that look like sticks. Their legs are super gross and move around almost without joints and yet can seemingly bend in any direction. They can lose their appendages and regrow them. That is disgusting and disturbing. Their beady little eyes are like an afterthought... like "oh... other creatures have eyes and expect us to have eyes... so let's pin some round things onto our outside to appear like we're looking around". They stick out literally... and seem to say "I see you and am constantly calculating whether you're food... and I bet if I wait long enough, you WILL be food". And to think about their slimy insides... and how basically they don't really have normal organs like mammals... they're an abomination. And all of the other things bug-like in the above water world... spiders, and bees, and moths, and flies, and cockroaches, and scorpions, and centipedes, and maggots, and parasites.... 🤮 omg. The world is full of disgusting monsters. They're just smaller than me - usually. //] [Song Meta | Key: F# | Mode: Minor | Scale: F# Phrygian | Tempo: 92 BPM | Time: 4/4 | Vibe: creepy, disgusted, hypnotic groove] [Intro | distant, eerie textures, filtered beat slowly emerging] [Whispered | left/right panning]Don’t let ‘em in… don’t let ‘em in… - - - - [Verse 1 | laid back, uneasy groove] I don’t like the way they move on the ground Too many legs and they don’t make a sound Little black dots but they watch like they know Every single place that I try to go I seal every crack, I patrol every wall If I see one crawling, I’m ending it all You call it nature, I call it a threat A thousand tiny things I ain’t ready to get [Pre-Chorus | tension rising, pulsing bass] They don’t blink, they don’t breathe like me Got that twitch, that alien energy You say chill but I can’t agree Something wrong with their anatomy [Chorus | smooth but unsettling, wide synths] Bugs creep me out, I don’t want ‘em near If it got too many legs, get it outta here (outta here) Flying or crawling, I don’t even care If it moves like that, it ain’t welcome here Bugs creep me out, yeah I said it clear Keep your oceans too, I ain’t going there (nope) Crabs and lobsters with them dead little stares You can eat that mess, I’m not going there [Instrumental | bass wobble + glitch textures] - - - - - - - - [Verse 2 | more animated, slightly aggressive delivery] See a lobster moving sideways in a tank Little armored body looking like a prank Got them stick antennas waving in the air Like it’s scanning me deciding if I’m there And them mouth parts folding in and out Like a nightmare I don’t wanna think about Not a tongue, not a jaw, what is that? Little grabbing hands where the food is at [Pre-Chorus | heavier, darker tone] They don’t feel, they don’t think like me Just a shell with some machinery You say food, you say it's outta sight I say sea bugs. It's just a parasite [Chorus | fuller, more energy] Bugs creep me out, I don’t want ‘em near If it got too many legs, get it outta here (outta here) Flying or crawling, I don’t even care If it moves like that, it ain’t welcome here Bugs creep me out, yeah I said it clear Keep your oceans too, I ain’t going there (nope) Crabs and lobsters with them dead little stares You can eat that mess, I’m not going there [Bridge | stripped down, eerie, spoken tone] [Spoken | intimate, unsettling] They regrow parts… They don’t stop moving… Even when you think they’re done… They’re not done… [Build | rising synth tension] - - - - - - - - [Drop | EDM edge, distorted bass, chopped vocal] Bugs creep me out (out, out, out) Creep me out (out, out, out) Too many legs, too many eyes Something ain’t right, something ain’t right [Chorus | final, biggest, layered vocals] Bugs creep me out, I don’t want ‘em near If it got too many legs, get it outta here Flying or crawling, I don’t even care If it moves like that, it ain’t welcome here [Outro | fading, whispered paranoia] [Whispered]They’re still there… Watching… - - - -
