Open Sign<English>

[Intro] Drizzle in the morning stone streets shining wet Just for today I won’t look for any cases [Verse 1] An old rusty sign slowly lights up the master’s back brewing coffee Old magazines rest on the counter who left them here the date makes me wonder there it goes again but not today [Verse 2] The seat by the window my usual place outside the fog blurs the city Someone far away opens an umbrella in a hurry but walking the wrong way It makes me curious but today it’s not my case [Chorus] Open Sign even on rainy mornings still glowing softly I love this place A city filled with quiet mysteries but today I’m just a customer The sound of the grinder the ticking clock that’s all I hear while drinking coffee [Verse 3] On the seat beside me something forgotten a single glove looks familiar somehow Where could its owner be now I add more sugar to distract my mind [Verse 4] The master says “You came again today” That’s enough don’t ask anything more Raindrops on the window look like something but I can’t remember what [Chorus] Open Sign when evening comes it turns to neon and I can’t leave Mysteries without answers are always here but today I’ll leave them alone Maybe I’ll order one more cup It’s still raining outside anyway [Bridge] Some mysteries don’t need solving When side A ends just listen to side B [Outro] The rain stops the city starts to sparkle Open Sign see you again Next week I’ll come back just like always
