They said law holds love, but love broke bars, Grace came down, ripped through scars. They polish chains and call ‘em stars, But I’ve seen love outrun Mars. No scroll, no code, no rulebook gate, Can stop a God who cancels fate. You can’t legislate what Heaven made — Love don’t fit the rules you trade. They said “Earn it,” love said “Done.” They said “Prove it,” love said “Son.” They said “Work for it,” love said “Run.” They said “Fear Him,” love said “One.” They want control, but grace too wild, It saves the saint, it saves the vile. They still measure worth by style, But love broke rank — it ran a mile. You can’t bind love, it don’t obey, It moves where law just fades away. They built their temples out of clay, While grace still moves in night and day. Love ain’t bound to system lines, It tears up scrolls, rewrites the signs. It says “Forgiven,” no fines, It bleeds in truth, divine designs. They tried to trap God’s gift in rule, Tried to box it up, play judge and school. But love ain’t logic — it breaks the tool, It floods the heart, makes sinners new. You can’t cage flame in dead decree, You can’t chain mercy’s mystery. Law points out the wound in me, But love walks in and sets it free. I seen priests turn love to trade, Sell forgiveness like it’s paid. They weaponize what grace displayed, But love ain’t something man can grade. They hate that mercy won’t comply, That Jesus ain’t a rule to try. They hate that law had to die, When love stretched arms to touch the sky. They said, “You’re soft, grace can’t hold line,” But love ain’t weak, it’s redesigned. It carried wrath, it crushed the spine, Of sin that said “He’s never mine.” Love don’t flex, it bleeds instead, It dies to live, it breaks the dread. You can’t threaten one that’s fed By grace through blood — resurrection bred. Law said “Pay,” love said “Paid.” Law said “Earn,” love said “Stayed.” Law said “Fail,” love said “Made.” Law said “Slave,” love said “Saved.” They said “Grace don’t discipline sin,” I said “Love changes from within.” You can’t chain hearts God lives in, You can’t legislate born-again skin. They hate that freedom frees the worst, That last get crowned, that first reversed. They can’t stand grace — it breaks the curse, It makes the proud man feel immersed. Love ain’t fair, it’s holy theft, It steals your guilt, leaves nothing left. It takes your shame, your self-made quest, And says, “You rest — I’ll handle the rest.” You can’t outlaw mercy’s hand, You can’t ban love from promised land. They write rules, but can’t command, The God who breathed and built the sand. Law points fingers, love bears scars, Law says “Stop,” love breaks bars. Law draws lines, love lifts stars, Grace turns prisoners into czars. Yeah, this the verdict — case dismissed, Grace ain’t myth, it’s blood-etched bliss. They can’t tax it, can’t resist, When love walks in — it don’t need list. You can’t cage what God’s declared, You can’t shame the one He spared. They say “Boundaries,” He said “Shared.” They say “Earn,” He said “I cared.” So yeah, the law can’t chain this love, It flows from mercy, sent from above. It don’t ask “How?” — it says “Enough.” It ain’t cheap — it’s costly stuff. It bled for kings and fools alike, It floods the grave and kills the strike. They call it scandal — I call it life, The law can’t chain what Christ made right.
