[Verse 1] I saw a staircase in the clouds tonight It whispered climb but I froze in fright Stars were dancing on a velvet sheet I felt the rhythm but lost the beat [Chorus] Dreaming of heaven where the colors collide A place where the oceans kiss the sky Dreaming of heaven with my arms open wide I’m chasing the glow where the angels fly [Verse 2] The moon wore silver like a royal crown Its light was soft but it pulled me down I walked on shadows through the galaxy Each step a secret unlocking me [Chorus] Dreaming of heaven where the colors collide A place where the oceans kiss the sky Dreaming of heaven with my arms open wide I’m chasing the glow where the angels fly
