Verse 1 Clock strike twelve, got that smile on your face, Walkin' through the door with that slow-motion grace. You kicked off your heels, threw your hair in the air, Girl, I already know what kind of mood in here. Candles on the table, Marvin on low, You whispered, "Baby, don't be movin' too slow." Ain't no TV, ain't no phone tonight, It's just me and you underneath these lights. Pre-Chorus All day long we been playin' it cool, Now you're lookin' at me like you got somethin' to prove. Hook It's demon time... after the sun goes down, You turn into somebody that I barely know now. Sweet all day, but you change after nine, Lord have mercy... it's demon time. Demon time... when the moon starts to shine, You got that smile that keeps blowin' my mind. Ain't no drama, just love and good vibes, When it's me and you... it's demon time. Verse 2 Neighbors probably wonder why we're laughin' so loud, Dancin' through the kitchen like we own the whole house. You stole my hoodie, I stole one more kiss, Baby, nights like this are hard to resist. Slow jam playing while we're sippin' red wine, Every little moment got me losin' track of time. When the morning comes we'll both pretend we're shy, But tonight we're just enjoyin' the ride. Bridge Monday through Friday, we handle business, Pay the bills, take care of responsibilities. But when the weekend comes around, We leave the worries on the ground. Final Hook It's demon time... after the sun goes down, A little romance got us spinnin' around. No stress, no worries, just two hearts in line, Baby, every weekend it's demon time. Oh... demon time... You and me, that's our favorite time. Turn the lights down low, let the music unwind, Southern soul love... it's demon time. Outro When the rooster starts crowin', we'll laugh about the night, Hold each other close 'til the morning light. Everybody got their own way to unwind... Ours just happens to be called... Demon Time.
