[Intro - Distorted heavenly choir, then it glitches] Heaven... You said we'd never touch it... You said it wasn't for us... Watch... [Verse 1 - Hell Boy] Yeah, they told me heaven got a gate with my name crossed out, Golden list, but my name left out, Pearl white walls that were never built for me, So I learned to climb with a burn in my teeth. You said heaven's perfect, heaven's clean, No scars, no sinners, no broken wings, But if perfect means forgettin' us, Then perfect's just a lie for lust. So I'm comin' up, boots black with ash, Same boy you buried, now comin' fast, Not beggin', not knockin', not on my knees, I'm kickin' down what you said I'd never see. [Pre-Hook] You built heaven to keep us out, Built it tall, built it proud, Now we tall enough to see the crown, And we 'bout to take it down. [Hook - Both] Takin' down what you call heaven, Takin' down your golden seven, If you never let us in, then we break in, If you call us damned, then we take it. Takin' down what you call heaven, Smoke on the clouds, let it all blacken, You said Hell Boy, Demon Boy, never, Now we knockin' down forever. [Verse 2 - Demon Boy] Ayy, Demon Boy risin' through the cloud crack, Horns scrapin' gold where the light don't lack, They said "no demons past this line", I drew a new line with a blade of mine. White marble floors where the angels wept, I leave black footprints where they never stepped, You said heaven's for the chosen few, Chosen by who? By you? I was raised in the pit, learned to breathe smoke, You were raised in the light, learned to tell jokes, Joke's over, clouds turnin' grey, Two boys from hell found a way. [Verse 3 - Hell Boy & Demon Boy - Gangster Flow] Hell Boy: Stormin' the gates that you said was sealed, Demon: Rippin' the veil that you said was healed, Hell Boy: No halo needed when you own the night, Demon: No wings needed when you learned to fight, Hell Boy: You kept heaven locked like a private club, Demon: VIP list, but we wasn't on the stub, Both: Now we at the door with a demon grin, You said we can't come in? We already in. [Bridge - Cinematic, choir reversed] Let the trumpets choke, Let the gold clouds break, Let the perfect picture crack for our sake, You said we'd never rise, You said we'd stay low, Now look up - watch the heavens fold. [Verse 4 - Hell Boy - Darkest] Yeah, I'm takin' down your heaven, not with fire, with truth, With every scar you gave me in my youth, Every "you're not worthy" carved in my chest, Now carved in the gates where your angels rest. I don't want your mansion, I want your throne shook, Want the story rewrote in my own book, Where the damned don't beg, where the damned don't bow, Where the damned stand tall and the heavens bow. [Verse 5 - Demon Boy - Demonic Anthem] Takin' down what you call heaven, Let it burn, let it blacken, Let the angels hear us laughin', Demon Boy and Hell Boy happen. You told us we was cursed from birth, Now we cursin' what you call worth, If heaven don't want us, heaven gon' learn us, We don't need heaven, we overturn it. [Verse 6 - Both - Final Takeover] Both: We takin' down your heaven, brick by brick, Every lie you told, every holy trick, If heaven's only for the ones you choose, Then heaven's just a prison you abuse. We takin' down your heaven, stone by stone, Not to live there, but to claim our own, We don't want to be angels, we want to be kings, Of a heaven that don't clip our wings. Hell Boy: So let the gates fall, Demon Boy: Let the clouds all fall, Both: Let it all fall down. [Outro - Slow, clouds burning] What you call heaven... We call a lie... We takin' it... Hell Boy... Demon Boy...
