Part 5 of 7 from the Musical "The Green Nhous" -> look playlist for all 7 parts] [instrumental intro] [verse1] While the Green Nhous dived into the deepest ocean he touched a human for the first time in his life. And through his green feathering he felt one of the greatest love of mankind: the unconditioned love from a father to his daughter. Although the touch was short Nhous felt the longing of the dreaming man like a sweet pain in his own breast.. [instrumental intermezzo] [verse2] Arrived at the ocean palace Nhous knelt down at his Mistress' tentacles. She had the body of a giant octopus. With her tentacles she could manipulate the waves of the tides. With an awesome move one of her arms reached out for the merchant but the Green Nhous stood up and said: [pre chorus1, voice1] "Mistress of the Oceans! I won't give you the merchant, as he is innocent. He didn't know who I am." [chorus, voice2] "Ignorance is no excuse!" The Mistress' voice roared wuthering. "Why didn't you bring me his guilty daughter?" And wrapped a tentacle around Nhous' neck. [verse3] This was a dangerous game, but the Green Nhous knew her airs and graces. He let a mighty stormblow out of his gills and winded his neck out of her grip. [pre chorus2, voice1] "Mistress of the Oceans! I won't give you the daughter, as she is innocent. as well She doesn't know who I am." [chorus2, voice2] "Ignorance is no excuse!" The Mistress' voice roared wuthering. "Why do you stand up to me for humans? You are their master and I am yours!" [instrumental solo: severe weather warning] [bridge] Green Nhous held the loving father ongoing, felt something completely new in his soul. A loving whisper told him a true goal that he'd forgotten but wake up with longing. [pre chorus3, voice2] "You foolish Green Nhous! I won't give you free ever, As no human loves a ghost You will serve me forever!" [chorus3, voice1] "Ignorance is no excuse or norm. You are Mistress of Oceans and Sea. I am Master of Tempest and Storm. Finding human love I'll be free." [instrumental end, like a spring tide]
