Fragments, sensory particles, dissolved subjects, and a circular structure are woven with the smallest possible vocabulary. The scenery changes yet does not vanish, and I, too, dissolve into it. The voice is not placed to explain, but to leave behind a presence—a quiet residue of being. ▼ On the Design of the Language ● Fragments Pieces of memory placed as they are, creating space for the listener’s own time to settle in. ● Layers of Time The landscape of childhood and a distant foreign scene remaining as the same breath across different eras. ● Sensory Particles “wind,” “light,” “a single shard”— minimal words that let the image of sensation rise first. ● Dissolution of the Subject The speaking “I” softens and dissolves, becoming part of the scenery itself. ● Circular Form Beginning with “here,” ending with “here,” leaving the feeling of a ring that closes and opens again. Though it belongs to utsushiyo, the present world, the scenery is held as if it were tokoyo, the timeless realm. What changes yet does not vanish, what fades yet continues to remain— this song traces that faint, fragile boundary with a gentle touch.
