Internal War (Feat Madcat)
There’s always a platform for criticism Tho we think it’s for the sake of comedy. We roam the streets looking for a remedy, Not knowing it’s never about fixing reality. We deep-dive into things that never mattered— Feel too much, feel too little, break the meter. Shielding ourselves behind a perfect barrier, Thinking we’re crusaders fighting wars in the interior. The truth is nobody has a single clue What’s really going on within the glorious hue. Do we need to perform some high-grade ability Just to earn a place inside the tranquility? My life is perfect, but somehow it’s empty. I wonder if all of this is worth the absurdity. The meaning of life is to live and perform, And to perform, you have to choose a form— Decide what act gets your inclusion. If doing the right thing is laced with pain, Will doing the wrong thing start the gain? If closing doors is meant for peace, Will opening them just make us bleed? Truth is only what we perceive and believe— And if you choose to believe, will you actually succeed? The algorithm doesn’t always make sense, But the way we navigate gives us a course. "When do we arrive?" "Will we arrive?" That’s the question you ask first. If giving to what you believe in is too much... Then what was the giving even all about?
