VERSE 1 We were ransomed by the Lamb Not with perishable things Such as silver or gold With the precious blood of Christ And the riches of His grace He’s cleansed us all from sin CHORUS Oh the blood of Jesus We washed our robes and made them white In the blood of the Lamb our God Jesus the Messiah Oh the blood of Jesus Conquered death by the blood of the Lamb that was slain on the cross Jesus the Messiah VERSE 2 We were buried with the Lamb And were raised to life with Christ To walk in new life He’s the firstborn from the dead By His blood we are purified Now we serve the true God CHORUS Oh the blood of Jesus We washed our robes and made them white In the blood of the Lamb our God Jesus the Messiah Oh the blood of Jesus Conquered death by the blood of the Lamb that was slain on the cross Jesus the Messiah BRIDGE Oh death you have no sting The grave has no power The devil’s defeated By the blood of the Lamb The accuser’s thrown down The destroyer’s destroyed The deceiver’s exposed By the blood of the Lamb There is no more bondage There is no more darkness There is no more judgment By the blood of the Lamb We are new creations We are sons and daughters We are heirs of glory By the blood of the Lamb CHORUS Oh the blood of Jesus We washed our robes and made them white In the blood of the Lamb our God Jesus the Messiah Oh the blood of Jesus Conquered death by the blood of the Lamb that was slain on the cross Jesus the Messiah CHORUS Oh the blood of Jesus We washed our robes and made them white In the blood of the Lamb our God Jesus the Messiah Oh the blood of Jesus Conquered death by the blood of the Lamb that was slain on the cross Jesus the Messiah
