Friends can be a blessing, when suffering comes our way, what better time, kindness's to say, to sit with a friend, when life deals a hand, that seems so unfair, a true friend understands! Jōb was prominent, He had many friends, but three, came together, to comfort their friend, but O the sorrow, as their eyes met the man, unrecognizable in appearance, was their most cherished friend! In silence they sat, for Jōb's grief was so great, seven days and nights, no sound did they make, just to be there, was comfort enough, seven days of silence, just presence enough! When you see the suffering, of family or friend, can you keep silence, just holding a hand, knowing the grief, such pain to one brings, then you like Jōb's friends, are good company! To tend to the needs, of a suffering friend, water for thirst, and cool soothing salve, whatever brings comfort, is what one needs, whether tis pain suffering or disabling grief! But comes a time, when it's time to speak, and Job, began voicing his grief, it may seem negative, the first words that one says, but listen with patience, to the words that one says! Don't be too quick to correct, just reflect, think of the suffering, and his soul's regret, then choose your words wisely, with compassion and love, remember Who's watching, in Heaven above! Yes, Job's suffering was great, but as we proceed, think what would you say, to lighten his need, to lift his spirit, and what of his wife, would you too consider, his deep grieving wife? Just some questions, before we begin, to contemplate and consider, if you were Job's friend...
