[Intro — Spoken, Deep and Commanding] Brothers! Sisters! Awake! The war is not against flesh and blood! We do not fight against men— We fight against the lies that enslave them! Against the darkness! Against the falsehood! Against the evil that wages war against the truth! Soldiers of the Lord— RISE UP! [Verse 1] The trumpet is sounding, the battle is near, The voice of the Captain is ringing out clear. Not hatred for people, not vengeance or pride, But truth against darkness with God at our side. We stand for the broken, we pray for the lost, We follow the Savior who paid the full cost. Our weapons are mercy, our courage is prayer, We carry God's truth to a world in despair! [Pre-Chorus] Not against our neighbor! Not against our friend! We stand against the darkness till the darkness ends! Love your enemy! Pray through the night! Stand for the truth with the Lord as your light! [Chorus — Massive Arena Rock] HARD BLOWS! HARD PRAYERS! STAND FOR THE TRUTH—THE LORD IS THERE! RISE UP! STAND FIRM! LET EVERY HEART FOR JESUS BURN! We fight the lies! We break the chains! We pray for souls in Jesus' name! HARD BLOWS! HARD PRAYERS! THE LORD GOES BEFORE US—THE VICTORY IS HIS! [Verse 2] We hate the deception, but love those deceived, We speak what is true, and we hope they believe. No sword against neighbors, no hatred to spread, We battle the darkness with truth in our stead. The world may reject us, the proud may deride, But Christ intercedes, and He stands by our side. Though arguments fail us and strength may be small, The Lord who has called us will carry us all! [Pre-Chorus] Not against our neighbor! Not against our friend! We stand against the darkness till the darkness ends! Love your enemy! Pray through the night! Stand for the truth with the Lord as your light! [Chorus — Full Band, Gang Vocals] HARD BLOWS! [Verse 3 — Faster, More Aggressive] The battle is ancient, the conflict is real, But prayer is the power the darkness can't steal. You may be the weakest, forgotten, unknown, But God has a purpose for you and you alone. The hands that are trembling can still reach and pray, The feet that are weary can still walk His way. No servant too lowly, no task too small, For the Lord gives strength to the least of us all! [Breakdown — Half-Time, Spoken Over Heavy Guitar] Do not give up praying! Do not give up standing! Do not give up speaking truth! You may have little strength— But God has not lost His power! You may not see victory— But God has not surrendered His throne! HARD BLOWS! [Gang Vocals] HARD PRAYERS! [Spoken] The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. Our strength is not in hatred. Our victory is not in human power. We stand in faith. We stand in truth. And we stand in the strength of the Lord! [Bridge — Building Call and Response] WHO IS OUR ENEMY? THE LIES THAT BIND! WHAT IS OUR WEAPON? THE TRUTH DIVINE! WHO DO WE PRAY FOR? THE LOST AND THE WEAK! WHO GIVES US COURAGE? THE LORD WE SEEK! WHEN DO WE STOP? WE NEVER ABANDON THE CALL! WHO WINS THE VICTORY? THE LORD OVER ALL! [Instrumental Break — Crushing Guitar Riff and Soaring Solo] [Final Chorus — Maximum Power, Massive Choir] HARD BLOWS! ONWARD! ONWARD! NEVER GIVE IN! LET TRUTH BE PROCLAIMED TO THE WORLD AGAIN! Love your enemies! Pray as you fight! Carry the Gospel into the night! ONWARD! ONWARD! OUR HOPE IS SECURE! THE WORD OF THE LORD WILL FOREVER ENDURE! [Outro — Slow, Triumphant, Spoken] Christ is on the hill. He intercedes. We fight in the valley. And God will have the victory. JEHOVAH WILL TRIUMPH! [Final Gang Vocal] ONWARD! ONWARD! ON TO VICTORY! [Spoken Tag] Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Sermon Number One Hundred Twelve. The War of Truth. Spurgeon Gems dot org. Go there and explore some more.
