[Versus I ] In nocte silente descendit lux, In carne fragili Deus latet. O Filius, vox aeternitatis, Nunc spirat halitum mortalem. [Chorus] Deus experitur quod creavit, [Spoken sung english]: God experiences what He created Lacrimas et risum, somnium et finem. [Spoken sung english]: Tears and laughter, dreams and endings. In puer dormiente caelum plorat, [Spoken sung english]: In the sleeping child, Heaven weeps, Et mundus sentit cor Dei. [Spoken sung english]: And the world feels the heart of God. [Versus II] Maria cantat sub stellis altis, Angeli tremunt in umbra. Per te, o Christe, Deus novit Quid est dolere, quid est amare. [Chorus] Deus experitur quod creavit, [Spoken sung english]: God experiences what He created Lacrimas et risum, somnium et finem. [Spoken sung english]: Tears and laughter, dreams and endings. In puer dormiente caelum plorat, [Spoken sung english]: In the sleeping child, Heaven weeps, Et mundus sentit cor Dei. [Spoken sung english]: And the world feels the heart of God. [Coda ] Et cum resurgit lux diei, Deus in homine manet.
