Sorry , I made another one... It's just too much fun... Hope you all enjoy it 🤣🎸🛸... ... A lost 1964 Hollywood space musical! Crossing the Yukon on their way to Fairbanks, Johnny and the band nearly hit a banana-eating Skunk Ape carrying a five-string bass...just as a flying saucer abducts them, van and all. Recruited by the Grays to rescue the twelve princesses of Mars, these unlikely heroes race across the red planet and battle for their freedom the only way they know how: rock and roll! 🎸🛸🍌 [ZEE-OH ZOR-BAH (THE MARTIAN SHAKE) From the lost 1964 Technicolor musical "PRINCESSES OF THE RED PLANET"] [Disc A: Johnny ad-libs, gospel quartet ooh-wahs, Martian chant crowd] [Disc B: tight soundtrack kit, handclaps, upright bass then five-string bass] [Disc C: theremin, clavioline, tenor sax, tremolo hollow-body, honky-tonk piano] [Disc D: tape-echo whoosh, saucer hum, light DJ scratches, mono film crackle] [Lyrics_Lock] [Key_Lock: E_Major] [Tempo_Lock: 140_BPM] [Vocal_Lock: smooth_Memphis_drawl_baritone, confident_croon, playful_yelps, flat_deadpan_spoken_lines] [Intro ... lone theremin wail, saucer hum, then full band slams in on sax stab, E major, 140 BPM] [Verse 1 ... E major, upright bass walk, quartet ooh-wahs] Rollin' up the Yukon with the heater on high Fairbanks by Friday if the van don't die Headlights caught somethin' in the middle of the road Eight feet of fur with a five-string... whoa He froze, we froze, banana in his hand [spoken, flat deadpan] Evenin'. We're the band. Then the whole road lit up like a county fair... And the van and the bigfoot went UP in the air [Chorus ... E major, quartet Martian chant answers, handclaps, sax stabs, theremin swoops] ZEE-oh ZOR-bah! (zee-oh zor-bah) HEY-lah KLAA-too! (hey-lah klaa-too) That Martian jukebox rockin' till the two moons rise ZEE-oh ZOR-bah! (zee-oh zor-bah) HEY-lah KLAA-too! (hey-lah klaa-too) We're a long way from Memphis... 'neath a rusty red sky [Verse 2 ... E major, piano triplets driving, clavioline runs between lines] Little gray fellas with the great big eyes Said "we need us some champions"... imagine our surprise Princesses of Mars in a tyrant's tower Saucer hit the red sand inside of an hour Four-armed warriors swingin' swords around [spoken, flat deadpan] Boys... roll the windows up. Drove that van through the battle like a Saturday parade The bigfoot rode shotgun... man, he wasn't afraid [Chorus ... E major, quartet Martian chant answers, handclaps, sax stabs, theremin swoops] ZEE-oh ZOR-bah! (zee-oh zor-bah) HEY-lah KLAA-too! (hey-lah klaa-too) That Martian jukebox rockin' till the two moons rise ZEE-oh ZOR-bah! (zee-oh zor-bah) HEY-lah KLAA-too! (hey-lah klaa-too) We're a long way from Memphis... 'neath a rusty red sky [Bridge ... E major, half-time sway, tremolo guitar, theremin sighs, tender croon] She stood at the window of a copper-colored keep A dozen royal sisters that the tyrant meant to keep The warlord raised his scepter, said the girls could go free... If we beat his Martian orchestra... in E [spoken, flat deadpan] Sir... we accept. We're the band. (Turntable scratch) [Verse 3 ... E major, tribal Mars drums under full kit, five-string electric bass ENTERS fat and low, building] Martians hit a downbeat like a landslide fallin' Crystal horns a-howlin' and the warlord callin' Then the big fella plugged in that five-string low And the whole red planet felt the bottom-end grow Sax man wailin' while the theremin cried Even four-armed fellas got to clappin' four-wide The princesses were twistin' on the palace floor And the warlord dropped his scepter... hollered "play some more!" [Final Chorus ... E major, everyone sings, Martian crowd joins the chant, five-string bass and full kit locked, handclaps] ZEE-oh ZOR-bah! 'neath a rusty red sky [Outro ... E major, toms and handclaps, theremin and sax trade, tape-echo whoosh, fading] Saucer dropped us gentle on the Yukon snow Twelve princesses wavin' from the portal glow [spoken, flat deadpan] Boys... Fairbanks is thataway. The new bass player don't say much... But he keeps it in the pocket Zee-oh zor-bah... (zee-oh zor-bah)
