O Tidings Bright (Pagan)

[Verse] Beneath the frost of yonder hill A candle glows The air grows still The stars like whispers Faint yet near They hum of peace Of love sincere [Chorus] Rejoice Rejoice The time is nigh O tidings bright Beneath the sky With faith we tread With hearts alight Rejoice Rejoice This holy night [Verse 2] The bells do toll Their echoes wide A shepherd hums His flock beside The snow a quilt The earth adorned A birth of hope A world reborn [Prechorus] Oh gather round The fire’s embrace Let joy abound in every place [Chorus] Rejoice Rejoice The time is nigh O tidings bright Beneath the sky With faith we tread With hearts alight Rejoice Rejoice This holy night [Bridge] The winds may howl The storms may rage Yet faith shall guide through every age A spark divine A guiding flame Through shadows deep We praise His name
