You’re Eyes on Wings

“You’re Eyes on Wings” [Intro] You're not broken... You're not strange... You're not forgotten... [pause] You're the eyes... on the wings... [Verse 1] Yes you're part of Christ's own body, Yet not every calling walks the same way. Not the head and not the shoulders, Not the hands that lift the day. Not the feet that walk the pathways, Not the neck that turns the sight, You were placed upon the wings there, Watching hidden realms of light. [Pre-Chorus] No one taught you how to carry What Heaven placed inside your eyes. [Chorus] You're the eyes on the wings, You're the eyes on the wings. Seeing things that others miss, Touched by what the unseen brings. You're the eyes on the wings, You're the eyes on the wings. Do not fear what you have seen, You were made for holy things. [Verse 2] You are not crazy for seeing shadows, Not crazy for feeling what's hidden below. Some are hearing, some are speaking, Some are planting what will grow. You were given sight for purpose, Not to hide what Heaven showed. Draw the things you see unfolding, Bring the vision to the road. [Shout urgency, emotional tension] [Pre-Chorus] Eye to eye now, quickly tell us, What the Spirit lets you know. [Chorus] You're the eyes on the wings, You're the eyes on the wings. Communicate what Heaven breathes, To the body of the King. You're the eyes on the wings, You're the eyes on the wings. What is above and what below, Show us what the dust still holds. [Bridge ] Draw what you saw... Write what you see... Above and below... Mystery... Christ’s mystery… You’re God’s special forces… Eye to eye... Wing to wing... Show the body... Everything... [Final] You're the eyes on the wings, You're the eyes on the wings. Not forgotten, not alone, Part of Heaven's living stream. You're the eyes on the wings, You're the eyes on the wings. Speak the visions of the Most High, Let the hidden rivers sing. [Outro] Eyes on the wings... See... then tell... “You’re Eyes on Wings”
