[Intro] [Verse 1] Métis, the wisdom, she was the first Beside Zeus, in an age before the worst But Gaia and Uranus, with voices cursed Cast the prophecy, the shadow that burst [Pre-Chorus] "She'll bear a daughter of equal mind But the second child will leave you behind A son to dethrone the immortal kind" [Chorus 1] But the headache began to pound! Athena! The goddess wakes tonight! An agony that shook the ground! "Hephaestus! The axe! Come split my crown!" And from his forehead, she leaped down! Pallas Athena! Ready for the fight! In full armor, with her battle cry's light!
