Welcome to the night

[INTRO - whispered choir] Hush now... Can you hear the midnight calling? Hush now... Something wicked's out tonight... [Spoken] Lock your doors... Draw your curtains... And whatever you do... Don't look behind you. [VERSE 1] Moonlight dripping down the alley, Shadows dancing on the wall, Every little creaking floorboard Knows we're coming when you call. Candles flicker, windows shiver, Hear that crooked old bell ring, When the clock strikes thirteen times... That's when we begin to sing! [PRE-CHORUS] We don't knock, we don't wait, We just slip beneath the gate. If you're brave, come step inside... There's nowhere left to hide! [CHORUS] Welcome to the night! Where the wicked come alive! Raise your hands, kill the lights, Let the shadows multiply! Welcome to the night! Hear the monsters harmonize! If you scream, we scream it louder, If you run... we chase you twice! Welcome! Welcome! To the other side! [VERSE 2] I've got secrets in my pocket, I've got nightmares in a jar, Seven little wicked wishes Waiting underneath the stars. Would you like a little trouble? Would you like a little fright? Sign your name and step inside... Oh darling, don't ask why! [CALL & RESPONSE] LEAD: Who wants shadows? CHOIR: WE WANT SHADOWS! LEAD: Who wants fear? CHOIR: WE WANT FEAR! LEAD: Who wants trouble? CHOIR: BRING IT HERE! LEAD: Who's afraid of midnight? CHOIR: NOT US! LEAD: Then let the wicked party start! [CHORUS - BIGGER] Welcome to the night! Where the wicked come alive! Raise your hands, kill the lights, Let the shadows multiply! Welcome to the night! Hear the monsters harmonize! If you scream, we scream it louder, If you run... we chase you twice! Welcome! Welcome! To the other side! [BRIDGE - slow and sinister] Come a little closer... Don't be shy... The moon is watching From the cursed sky. Tell me your darkest secret, Whisper it low... Every little secret Has somewhere else to go... [Whispered choir] Go... go... go... [FINAL BUILD] One little spell, Two little lies, Three black ravens In the sky! Four dark bells Begin to chime... Five! Six! Seven! IT'S PARTY TIME! [FINAL CHORUS - EPIC] WELCOME TO THE NIGHT! Let the whole dead city rise! Shake the rooftops, wake the graveyards, Paint the darkness red tonight! WELCOME TO THE NIGHT! There are monsters in disguise! Every shadow has a heartbeat, Every moon has hungry eyes! WELCOME TO THE NIGHT! Let the wicked take the stage! Turn the fear into a fever, Turn the silence into rage! WELCOME! WELCOME! Everybody come inside! [OUTRO - sudden silence] [Whisper] The night is alive... [Whispered choir] And it knows your name... [Evil laughter] Ha... ha... ha...
