Hold me lord (live version)

(Preacher Voice) Brothers and sisters, can I get an Amen?! (Choir Response) Amen! (Preacher Voice) We gather here today, not because life is always easy, no! We gather because in this world, we face trials and tribulations. We stumble, we fall, we sometimes feel lost in the darkness... (Choir Response) Yes, Lord! (Preacher Voice) But I'm here to tell you today, there is a power, a force, an everlasting presence that can lift you up, no matter how deep the valley, no matter how fierce the storm! It's the love of our Lord, a love that reaches down and holds us tight! (Choir and Preacher together, leading into the song) His spirit!... it holds me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! His spirit!... it guides me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! (Verse 2 - Singer) Trapped in the struggle, with nowhere to turn My spirit is aching, my lessons unlearned But then I feel comfort, a gentle embrace His love lifting me, with tenderness and grace (Response - Choir) Tenderness and mercy, a powerful hand Pulling us forward, to solid ground we stand (Chorus - All) His spirit!... it holds me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! His spirit!... it guides me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! (Bridge - Singer) Like a strong current, it washes over me This love that's unfailing, for all eyes to see No matter the hardship, the depth of the fall His love is the answer, encompassing all (Response - Choir) Encompassing power, that breaks every chain His love will deliver, again and again (Chorus - All) His spirit!... it holds me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! His spirit!... it guides me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! (Verse 3 - Singer) Through trials and tempests, the journey is long Sometimes the darkness just feels too strong But then like a sunrise, breaking through the grey His love shines upon me, and brightens my way (Response - Choir) Sunrise of mercy, dispelling the gloom His love is our beacon, our light in the tomb (Chorus - All) His spirit!... it holds me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! His spirit!... it guides me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! (Bridge - Singer) So if you are hurting, and feeling the pain Know that His promise will always remain Reach out to the Father, surrender your fear His love will embrace you, and bring you so near (Response - Choir) Near to His heart, where true healing resides In His loving presence, forever He hides (Chorus - All) His spirit!... it holds me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! His spirit!... it guides me...! Fill me with your spirit Lord...! (Outro - Singer with Choir echoing and building in intensity) Holds me... He holds me... yes He does! Fill me... Oh Lord, fill us now! Guides me... He gently guides me... all the way! Fill me... with Your Spirit... today! Amen... Oh, Amen! His spirit! Amen! Fill me! Amen!
