I've been calling out into the distance Feels like forever, no real reason why? I know I was meant to be a good mother But they drew all the borders, no matter how hard I tried... Every move I make, every fight I face Every truth I hold, every prayer I place For my little girl where I cannot go, where I long to be.... CHORUS: See the light in her eyes when she calls for me....
